SO what’s different about Wild West Airsoft and what can you expect from a Flying Lead?

At Gunman we have put a lot of time and money into what was when we started a much bespoke side of Airsoft, being the retro game. Many games had been run as theme days but not entirely dedicated to a period of time, but with our long history of running theme weekend events, it only made sense to take that experience we have and add Airsoft to it. We now run Modern, Cold War 70s -80s, Vietnam 60s – 70s, WW2 1940s, Untouchables 1930s and at last added to the mix 1880s Wild West.

We have been running Flying Lead with Blank firing guns as a Live Action game for years and have all the kit and props needed to help dress a site up and send you back to 1880. With all the new and old Wild West guns the industry is putting out, the time is right to put a load out together and join in with a new experience. If you have nothing we can help for FREE uniform hire and pistol rental.

SO what’s different?
First up we won’t be running these weekends as open days, they will be book on only as we need to know who’s coming along and they will be capped. They will also feature a certain amount of role play in that to get ‘Jobs’ you have to interact with other groups and get a posse together. The whole game revolves around $ cash and how much you can get your hands on. Greed is good!
There will be ‘Jobs’ on the job board at the saloon and the sheriff’s office as well as ref played town’s folk with more ‘Jobs’ to earn your fortune with.

The combat will be realistic and death of your dude will mean all the wealth you have accrued will be lost. Cash can also be made through trade, strikes and card games. Sounds too good to be true but I can only assure you this will be the most unique experience we can give in a Wild West Theme.

With each event slowly opening up into more of a story, dudes that survive a number of weekends will be become renowned and make the Gazette (an in game news paper) with more scope to be employees themselves, looking after the wealth and holdings. All participants will be expected to play a few jobs and be enemy (crew) too. We will provide bad dude kit as most guys don’t want to spend money on more than one load out.

What can I expect from Flying Lead?
Well guys, as always a Gunman promise that we will spare no expense to give you the best experience we can and a roller coaster weekender of laughs, memories and hospitality your money can buy.

For more information about getting your hands on kit and events coming up, check out our forum. You don’t have to subscribe as it’s a public forum and easier to update than a website.
