Why not do 'Grenada' as a mini op.

Loads of the guys have us woodland for US forces., the brits can use their lightweights and GS shirts to be cubans.... anyone without those can be 'civilians' to be rescued, get in the way, shot up... etc

I'm sure most of us have a pair of PG trousers and an OG shirt though?

Equally US rangers in Grenada all wore OG vietnam type fatigues so all the guys with nam kit coudl join the US forces.

A few 'soviet advisors' on the grenadan side (literally like two or three tops) and we'd have enough for an interesting battle that would look ok if yo squint :)

A US invasion of Cuba would be consistent with the Red Mist setting to deny communists a base of operations in the Carribean and to avoid destablisation of central and South America. Alternatively a 68 Boliva setting with CIA and local forces fighting a Chelike figure and his Cuban guerillas would allow nam kit ect for US forces.
Corporal Hancock: Sir.
[Offers mug of tea]

Major General Urquhart: Hancock. I've got lunatics laughing at me from the woods. My original plan has been scuppered now that the jeeps haven't arrived. My communications are completely broken down. Do you really believe any of that can be helped by a cup of tea?

Corporal Hancock: Couldn't hurt, sir.
