Not doing 'Arnhem' then?
Had a great weekend as well, as I'm sure most did.
Can't really avoid the little 'hiccups' with events like this, so Josh, don't sweat it mate, you did a great job as usual, as did all the team leaders.
It's a great site, should make for some epic WWII action.

Help rid the Airsoft world of tamiya plugs, they have no right to be on anything more powerful than a Duracell bunny!
Deans plugs; they should really be blue, and have a little 'V' stamped on them...

i know the dorset infidels will undoubtedly post their own lubx, but in talks on the now nnot so long car journey, we all really enjoyed the weekend, it was great to see the new site, and to be introduced into the cold war series. Nam is our spiritual home (we're very excited to go to eversley as GIs) but we may have to dabble in cold war in future. great game, with a great bunch of guys. Thanks to josh for hosting and nelly for a great job as CO. See you all in the future Lubx

Good weekend: the cold, damp and slogging back and forth only added to the immertion and enjoyment for me to be honest! It was nice to meet people off the forums and fight along side/against them too. Plus any excusse to wear Soviet parade uniform to the local shop is appriciated!

Home! Blimey, good job it was worth it. :P Pics and vids up very soon.

I have to say, as an embedded neutral reporter during the second assault on the tower, the Soviets were hilarious. Nelly does a proper good death.

Also big thanks to all the organisers! Eversley is my new favourite site, loved all the paths, hills and trenches.

Hey chaps,

Cracking weekend boys. Big thanks out to the russian team leaders: Justin, Ben, Scorp and Dave. This was my first time OCing a side and in the field too, I found it a bit daunting at first but I hope I pulled it off ok. Thanks to all the Ruskies (And East Germans!) who had to put up with some wet weather on saturday and especially the guys who saw little action. Sorry I couldnt get you more involved.

Great play on the sunday, and I hope you all got the action you craved!! Thanks to you all.

Not forgetting the NATO troops you put up some stiff oppostition. MAssive shout goes out to the lone British soldier who at least attempted to prevent the extraction in the pouring rain on the saturday.

And finally to Josh and all the marshalls. Super work fellas.

Love to all

Nel

Fantastic weekend guys, loved it, even though it now means a trip to the dentist! Fighting through the rain Saturday just made it more atmospheric, especially when the soviet horde came for the tower!

Thanks for a great weekend, hope to make the afghan game next too.

Great event, as usual!

Just want to say thanks to all the Brits for putting up such a spirited defence all weekend (and putting up with us ordering them around!, and also to the Communist hordes who ran us ragged for two days!

I really must remember not to poke my head up in future, I seem to get shot in the ear at every event!

A great weekend indeed. It was fantastic to have so many players in the field, especially on the Soviet side as we're usually one of the smallest contingents. Top marks to the Warpac forces to repeatly returning to the fray in the face of some tough resistance and the NATO forces making us pay dearly for our gains.

Thanks to Josh and all his team for raising the bar on Cold war once more. A special mention for Nell for leading us to glory (or glorious death in my case :D ) on his first time in command, a damn fine effort.

See you in the Afghan. B)
