Hi Mate,

I got one from RSOV when the first came out. I has leaked from day 1 and I have never been able to get a round out of it. I have given it to Kris at Viking to see what they can do. He called me yesterday to say that its a wall hanger. The seals are badly made and not the standard O-ring types but a solid rubber block. A no chance part to replace. I wish it did work as the externals are not that bad. To be honest, rather than throwing good money after bad I'm going to bite the bullet and buy either a KTW one or a shotgun.

I hope that helps but ask me more if I missed anything.

JRC

Mine just arrived today. after a bit of a c'fuffel at customs. Its an awesome rifle. It leaked the first time i put gas into it. But after a min or 2 it stopped, guess it was the o-rings bedding in.

The reload action is a little clunky, at times, but 9/10 it will shot 100 yards (limits of my garden) easy in a straight tradjectory. Power seems good, but i'll need to chrono it.

All in all, its 115 well spent.

Pleased to hear it mate. Mine must have been a rough one. I wish it had worked because for the money it looked great. Did you get the version with or without the RIS and where did you get it?

Thanks to Kris and Andy at Viking I have finished my SAA Fast Draw Custom.
They got all the parts and the gun in for me.

It was a Tanaka SAA Heavy weight Artillery.

I have added wood grips and the chrome ejection leaver, hammer and screw set.

Attached File  SAA_Fast_Draw.JPG   159.29KB   134 downloads

Looking forward to the game!

(If anyone wants to buy the black hammer, grips, screw set and ejection leaver give me a PM!)
