So, after you all had fun and games at FL, thought I'd put up a bit of an idea. So we don't get people duplicating work, how about a business directory?

While it'd make sense to eventually have more than one eating/drinking establishments, there's no real point having several telegraph or post offices, so it'd be a good idea to co-ordinate.

So far then, we've got:

Bellefleur's Cookhouse - Prop. Colonel William Bellefleur - (Wladek)
Western Union Telegraph Office - Prop. - (Steiner).
Clement Freight & Mail - Prop. Mr Clement - (Lipton)
Harvey & Himmel's General Store (Evo & Gadge).
Rhodes Imported Goods - Prop. Mr Rhodes (Mindham)
Dr Johansen - Medical Practitioner, based in Bellefleur's - (Ranj)
Dr Johnson - Medical Practitioner, based at Peabody & Smythe - (Blaine)

Pinkerton Agency - Secure storage and Offices. - (?)
Peabody & Smythe Mining Agency - Prop. ?
Jameson & Jameson Mining Agency -
Prop. Colonel William Bellefleur - (Wladek)

(If you'd like to give me your in-game names and establishment titles, that'd be grand.)

I'm also aware that we have several Doctors operating. So, basically, if you're operating as a tradesman, post on here, and I'll make up a downloadable Town directory, like the map.

Also, if anyone wants any graphic design/poster work doing for their trade, I'm happy to knock something up, and sell it to you in game money.

Dr Johanson operates out of Bellefleur's at the moment (if you were wondering what the red stains on the tables were ;) )

I am not sure when he is looking at getting offices.

Another general store, or anything specific?

Fair enough. May have to rethink again, then.

The Pinkertons (no booing or hissing now!) will be opening a depostory (safe storage) soon as well as their own offices

2 stores, one general and they other specialist is a great idea guys. If one deals in liquor and the other specialises in mining tools that would work! Also clothing and they other hides and do on. Really depends on what props you can front;)

We've had a bit of a chinwag, and Harvey & Himmel will be dealing in general day-to-day requirements, such as lamps, fuel and liquor, whilst Rhodes Imports will be providing higher end, quality imported goods.

I'd like to think the work done by the Great National (Black Coat) Pinkerton's has gone a long way to repairing some of the bad reputation we have in town :)
It will take less bullets to kill him now than if we wait for him to turn into a zombie.

The elderly. They seem nice enough, but can they really be trusted ?

The actions of the "black coats" and certain "white coat" (yes, me), I think have helped restore the reputation of the Pinkertons after the "Keith" incident(s).

I'm Doc Johnson attached to the Peabody and Smythe mining company but available for consultations if required.
Corporal Hancock: Sir.
[Offers mug of tea]

Major General Urquhart: Hancock. I've got lunatics laughing at me from the woods. My original plan has been scuppered now that the jeeps haven't arrived. My communications are completely broken down. Do you really believe any of that can be helped by a cup of tea?

Corporal Hancock: Couldn't hurt, sir.
