Those "shotguns" are really tiny! More like a pistol to be honest. They do look gucci though.

I thought it could be quite good as almost a high powered derringer type thing!

Well, it's certainly Derringer-like and, wood effect to boot. Don't think I'd like to be shot with it point blank though, especially if green gas or CO2 were used (that would really sting!).

Hmm didnt realise they were that small. I know the modern DE tri shots are fantastic for 60 quid. Should have never sold mine!

Just a heads up guys, all guns used a Flying Lead should be around 300fps as this is a role playing game first and foremost.
It will take less bullets to kill him now than if we wait for him to turn into a zombie.

The elderly. They seem nice enough, but can they really be trusted ?

Not sure what the bar10 shoots at but if its above 320 then I won't use it. Unless I can use it at range as per usual sniper engagement rules?

BAR10's, out of the box, generally shoot high 300's/low 400's fps. Easily sorted with a cheap spring change.

A few guys have bolt actions, they use the engagement distance as standard but also keep it low FPS. As I say this is a Western role play game that uses airsoft guns.

Also try not to go for a supped up gun as the guns of the time were rather inaccurate and we reflect that in game by just using stock guns as generally most of the period guns dont shoot great without some fiddling :)

So is it yay or nay on the goblin??

Edit: I also had a look at some videos and the double is quite a bit bigger than the solo, and looks very shotgun like

The HWS Mad Max shotty is used by a few of the players already if you're looking for a sawn off. I cannot say on a goblin as I've no idea how they perform, Josh will add his 2p worth to this at some point chaps, so just hold fire on ordering anything for a day or two :)

Thanks... I can't imagine them performing any better than one of the mad max shottys or a grenade launcher..

Just about if they look western enough...

The shells on the Mad Max are notoriously bad so it helps keep the power down as they hardly have a full charge of gas in them !! From what I've read the goblin is better in that regard. As to the looks, personally I'd say not for me, but by no means do I have any say on this kind of thing, It's Josh's game and his word goes, so Josh, give the man an answer !!

If you've got a Mad max shotgun, you can retro fit it to accept the new madbull shotgun cartridges, that will hold gas for months. It's what I've done with mine.

Incidentally, 22mm gas pipe works perfectly as a sleeve to reduce the bore to the correct level.

Shotguns have been on topic for a while now. Im not keen on anything that isnt shell operated and single action. No pump!!

I need to see pics to make a final decision guys!

Here are some pics of the Goblin Deuce (sorry if they're massive)

Posted Image
and one of someone holding so you can see the size is similar to that of a really sawn off shotgun
