G & G are a nice solid rifle, the blowback is not as good as TM.

But the only G & G i have seen are M4's & AK's.

the pneumatic blow back is awesome! It is hard to break it and very solid in my opinion. Doesn't mess with the piston and doesn't cause any drop in fps due to it using the compressed air, its top notch!

I have a G&G top tech m4 with the same blowback, without a mag in it doesn't blow back as much as when it has a mag in with rounds, then it looks and sounds brilliant!

Also the rifle shoots incredibly far and accurately :D

Or buy the bits and let your local tech from Eversley do it :)

Cheers Scorp, Would that be you then?
I've got a G&G M4 now, will put the other gun on hold for a while....
Might need to get some tips on maintenance though and possibly how to strip n rebuild if you have 5mins..
Will get uprated rubbers for the M4 if your able to fit them, just let me know how much or beer you will me,
Cheers m8

This seems similar to the CYMA cm.049...
As far as I can tell they have the same features but the CYMA is cheaper. You could get http://www.zerooneai...roducts_id=6982 and put a scope mount on it. Then it would be identical? I have skirmished the CYMA a few times and I have nothing but good things to say about it, other than it can get heavy if your slugging it around all day. The blowback is great and with that hop rubber you are talking about it is pretty accurate. Just a thought if you haven't got the Pm5 yet :)

It might look similar to the Cyma MP5 but really it is not. The Cyma is a completely different beast and the CM049J (with some modification though) has served me well for three years as my primary weapon. Both guns are solid performers but with the Cyma you get a heavier moving "bolt" creating some sort of "recoil". It is nothing like a TM recoil or a the even stronger Bolt B4A1 (which is awesome!) but you do feel every shot. The internals of the Cyma are rock solid and after tens of thousands of rounds the piston which drags the bolt backward upon each shot does not show to suffer from it at all.
Everyone says the same about the hook-piston blowback system (sorry James, but I forgive you)but have not seen many of such guns fail because of that. After firing even this "light blow back" MP5 I could not get used to the lack of movement such as with any G&G. Anyway, that is my opinion. There must be many others ;-)

I know there are a few more Cymas around at gunman so maybe other can comment on this.

Whatever you do, the choice of the MP5 is a good one!

Yes mate, if you have any drama's or need some tips on maintenance let me know.

As for the MP5 i performed surgery on one at the weekend, all very simple and normal, no surprises, blow back is a blessing and all straight forward, didnt need to do the hop, gun fired well all weekend after its initial out of the box, errrmmm, Hiccup!
