cheers for the feed back guys. Hope that didnt feel like a slap down Slinger 91, it wasn't meant to be;) you dont need to spend a fortune on getting a load out together, and even a pistol isnt an arm and a leg. Think of it as an investment of future fun;)

s'alright i'm quite happy to use just a pistol was just looking at other options. Most of my loadout has been aquired for free all i'm spending money on is the pistol and holster and thats pretty damn cheap in comparison to my hi-capa and speedsec holster. biggrin.gif

What about a mountine man/indian/hunter type class thingy? Although the winchesters and six shooters are cool and on my 'to get' list I like the idea of using bow and arrows, throwing knives and can't not have a good tomahawk :D Dressed in skins/indian garbs with maybe a poncho ;) Just a thought :D

Myself and Gadge were thinking of going as natives, too! Maybe we can form a local 'tribe' .

Josh, you looking for purely settlement types, or is there room for a few injuns causing trouble?

No probs either way, just a thought!

I beleave the local tribe will be 'The Blackfoots' and I would love to have an injun group. Teepees are bloody cheap these days and warmer with the harth inside!

Im already looking at getting some white canvas (rather than the green mil ones I have).

You're on then. Heap big pastyface Blackfoot braves will run the foreigners and their evil fire-water from our ancestral lands!

But maybe leave the fire-water behind, eh?

This is 1902, Whilst we still respect our tribal lands and ancestors, and wish to stay true to ancient tradition, we've been sneakily stealing Winchesters for years. ;)

Mind you, having said that, i tested mine the other day and it's died, so i need to get working on it, pronto! If i can't get it up and running, i might get a bow!

Yeah, the trigger o-ring had perished. I've replaced it, but it's such an awful design that taking it apart and rebuilding it has caused another half-dozen leaks.

I'm debating building a custom (non leaking!) gas reservoir to fit inside the space in the gun that makes up the original, crap one.
