Newsletter - Week 43 2019

Post by GunmanAirsoft » Wed Oct 23, 2019 1:11 pm

We had another hugely well supported weekend at Eversley – thank you to everybody who came along and got stuck in! The 24hr MilSim at Tuddenham also went really well – probably the best one yet. We were even lucky enough to manage 24hrs of dry weather!

Due to this week being a school holiday, Josh is off for the week with his family, and Doug is doing even less work than normal! Any urgent queries can be made during the daytime on 07711 774461, otherwise Doug will be monitoring emails and Facebook in between entertaining his kids…

This weekend is the last one in October, so we’ll be at Tuddenham for our usual skirmish madness. This one will be the first event which Robbie is running solo so all support will be appreciated to ease him in gently. Doug will be on support in the safe zone and shop as well. We don’t have a specific theme, but as it’s close to Halloween, feel free to dress up if you want!

Next weekend we will be back to Camp Bravo again for the monthly skirmish event, so come along and join us. Please note that we had a lot of unexpected rentals last weekend – if you know you will need rental kit, please make the effort to book on the website, as we’d hate to have to disappoint anyone on the day because we didn’t bring enough guns!

Just a reminder to everyone as the weather starts getting worse: we do not cancel games due to inclement weather, unless we are unable to get to the site or it would be unsafe to play (eg a hurricane in the woods). Please bear in mind that as the weather gets cold and wet, so will you if you don’t plan ahead! At the bare minimum, a pair of surplus army boots would be a good start, as well as a change of clothes for the drive home. Also consider investing in some waterproof overtrousers – again, army surplus kit is great and cheap!
